Who is the Director of the SAIS Bologna Center and in which field did he receive his Ph.D?
Here is a hint -- this is a picture of our Director some years ago:

The Director of SAIS BC is Kenneth Keller with a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering (from JHU).

Congrats to Eva W. for winning our second weekly quiz! She correctly identified Kenneth Keller as the SAIS Bologna Director, noted that he received his Ph.D in chemical engineering, and even pointed out correctly that he obtained that degree from Johns Hopkins. Eva was very quick to respond. Eva -- I will offer you lunch at Giulio's bar in the SAIS Bologna building. But are you in Bologna? The same offer to Ilektra who won last week's quiz. (We're going to have to make these more difficult, or I'm in financial trouble.) Nelson

Dear pi - Thanks very much. "We try harder." (Can you say which company used to use that as its slogan?) It's good to practice the GMAT. Such standardized tests are never perfect measures of one's capabilities or promise. But they are benchmarks of sorts. And it's good to challenge oneself. The structure of such tests can be mystifying to the uninitiated, especially non-Americans, so studying the format can be very helpful. Good luck. And please keep readying the blog and comment as you please. Nelson

Erratum: I meant "...please keep reading the blog..." Nelson
ReplyDeleteIn reply to question about company's slogan. The answer is AVIS Rent a Car System.

Marko -- You are sharp as a tack. Well done. I thought that slogan was long gone. It's near impossible to pull a fast one on the readers of this blog. Nelson
